to Fabrics

While I was waiting for a friend of mine. I decided to go to Joanne fabric and craft stores to check out the inexpensive fabrics. I found these beautiful {spring colors} fabrics. I knew, I saw the similar colors from my previous post so I grabbed the idea. Something we can use for curtains, chairs and pillows, lamp shades and the lists are on and on.  

Then I started to select countless fabrics to put them together and see how it's going to turn out. I truly want to have a beautiful sample library to work on concept ideas.

See for yourself. I hope you like them.

And this color is inspired from my Beauty talk and color picker blog. I was looking for the muted blue shades but I think the gray color worked too. A little different color but It's fun to go a bit different too.

Impromptu Table Setting

I went to Wold Market, Cost Plus to buy Paella rice. I can't stop but continue to experiment and do tablescaping.For some reason, I saw (half) of the porcelain shell-shaped hiding in the shelves. I can't stop looking. I told myself, "Hey! I'd like to have my food in the shell plate." I was forced to pull it from the shelves.

With a quick deep sighs, "It's a chip'n'dip tray!?" Pause...."Why not?" I took the tray out,

the plates, wine glasses, napkins, and napkin rings, and so on... and I am very happy with the result.

I wanted to do one more. Merienda time and a cup of tea are my favorites. Simple dinnerware would make us smile and change our mood.

Peacock Table Setting

Things to DO or Not to waste your time? I wanted to do something while waiting for rush hour traffic. Who wants to get stuck in traffic? I don't. I walked around the store and I immediately felt hungry for decorating I spotted Z Gallerie store and I refused not to enter. I told myself, "Hmmm, let's train our eyes and do something fun!" I selected the beautiful dinnerware, glassware, napkins and the unbelievably beautiful Peacock napkin rings. Because of the Peacock, I would painfully regret not to do table setting. This is what I would love to see when I pulled out my dining chair and wait for the casual dinner with a special friend of mine. Peacock creates unexpected look to the diners and that...will... take your breath away! I didn't buy them, I was doing table setting merely for fun. (Smile) It was worth doing something, even for a minute.

Road Trip- Stop Over for Picnicking.

Last night, I talked about what I wanted to do after picnicking with family and friends. I wanted to the same but slightly different. My boyfriend and I will go on a roadtrip from San Francisco to Seattle on July. Since, he's American Dream is to travel around America, we will stop at Oregon and explore the nature. I want to do something special for him. Instead of eating at fast food or restaurant on your next stop over, I am going to plan a picnic for us while enjoying the view,exploring the park and capture the moments.

I want to use sky blue and bright yellow to pull out the color from the clouds, the sun and the woods.
